Well I'm very happy to be back to this freezing windy country. I think four days holiday suits me fine and then I'm itching to get back.
Have you seen the new issue of knit on the net? The Miss Scarlett garment modelled beautifully by Melissa is in our Freya yarn and can be purchased from the lazykate site at www.lazykate.net Each ball of yarn is hand spun and hand dyed, so every dye lot is original, so each knitted garment will have it's own unique shading.
Another reason to be proud is that the gorgeous model in the Jess garment is my very own daughter Jessamy! She is obviously destined for greatness (we knew this already). The Jess dress was beautiful and a credit to the designer Aruba Blue.
The photo shoot day was really interesting, we all learnt a huge amount, especially Jessamy who was taken under Zoe the photographer's wing. She was wonderful with her small 'assistant' and allowed her to photograph constantly alongside her. It gave Jessamy a great deal of confidence and she has been photographing anything and everything since. Something I wasn't particuarly grateful while in my costume on the beach. Hooray for the delete button.
The photographs on the site have been sorted out, thanks to Jon the wonder boy. So no more slow downloading. The wonders of modern technology - who knew?
So congratulations to Sue and Gavin and everyone involved in knitonthenet. And happy knitting everyone else!
