I had a crazily busy weekend which finished this morning at 8am when we had a house viewing!  I have to admit that there are about five or six bags of ironing hiding in my car in order to give the impression of a well run domestic haven.  The lady, who was from Essex was commenting on the fact that a lot of the houses she'd been looking at had been on the market for over a year.  Unfortunately that's the case with us - the market where we live is soooo slow.

Friday night was spent with Jinny and Ruby of www.justcallmeruby.com swapping ideas and learning techniques from a very patient Ruby.  It was great!  We came home brimming with ideas and unable to sleep.  The problem will be working through everything in an orderly fashion.  So I'm implementing a state of the art sytem at Lazykate called Finish What You Start  - I know, it's scary isn't it.  I began last night by plying the last bits of Ugg wool from weeks ago and I'm determined to finish it.

I'm also starting new stuff this week, firstly experimenting with dk green hand dyed and handspun wool for a project coming up in the summer.  If there is anything exciting to tell, I surely will.

Our camera is also on order, it's a Nikon DX40 which looks good from where I'm standing (which is admittedly from no camera knowledge whatsoever).  The blurb says that the zoom is magnificent which will be great for close up yarn shots.  So hopefully, the blurry Miss Elly effect above will be a thing of the past. Can't wait.
