Well we got to the Heritage Centre and it's a really lovely building just off the main road in Lytham. It's just the right size for a guild like us and I think we can make the exhibition look really professional. We've all gone away with things to sort out, we want to show the process from sheep to garment, have traditional areas but also new wools that will appeal to new knitters.
I've entered a secret spin being held by a French spinning site where you fill in a questionnaire with all your details, how long you've spun, what type of wool you like, colours etc. Anyway, I've been spinning for three years now but I've found out the woman I'm spinning for has been spinning since 1971. I was born in 1970! No pressure then. I have to have the wool spun by January 15th so I've got time to think before I get started. She likes thick yarn and jewel colours so I think it'll be claret or emerald. It's really interesting though and all the entrants are from round the world so we'll all be learning something. Have a look
